Description
The Opera Solo Comfort profiling bed is an all-in-one nursing and floor bed designed to accommodate advanced care needs of individuals. Its fully upholstered surround and choice of headboards gives it a homely feel. The bed's low floor height of 11cm reduces the risk of fall injuries and reduces the need for side rails, making it ideal for users with dementia. It can be raised up to 73.5cm for delivering on-bed nursing care and is designed for unrestricted hoist access. Taller users can be accommodated with an additional 20cm of length with the Solo Comfort's integral length extension.
Advanced auto-regression profiling technology prevents stomach compression and enhances user comfort. The Solo's Anti-Trendelenburg feature provides postural support, enhanced comfort and helps respiration and circulation.
The bed is controlled via an ergonomically-designed handset with soft-touch moulded buttons. It has a locking feature that enables the operator to disable all or certain functions where there are safety concerns with the user.
The Solo Comfort is available in three widths with a choice of three headboard styles and six upholstery colours.
