Rehasense Paws

Available in a choice of 12, 14, 16 or 20inch drive wheel sizes, the Rehasense Paws (Power Assisted Wheelchair System) is a highly proficient powered front wheel that can turn your manual wheelchair into a powered one. With a 11.6Ah battery, disk brakes and choice of 350 or 500W electric motor, the Paws can propel you on or off road for up to 40km on a single charge.

The Paws provides several advanced control modes, allowing for forward and reverse operation, Walk mode (sets the speed to a constant 4kmh), Cruise mode (speed is maintained without needing to hold the throttle) and Traction mode, for extra stability when grip is reduced. The modes and more are accessed via a colour display screen. Paws also offers specialised controls for people with reduced dexterity.

A choice of clamping options allowed the Paws to be attached to your rigid or folding wheelchair quickly and easily. Manual clamps provide easy to operate levers, while Automatic clamps allow the Paws to latch securely under its own power. The Paws handlebars can be ergonimically positioned for a perfect driving position and the attachment height can be set for comfort across a variety of environments.

Paws is available with a range of accessories, from carry bags to tyre inflators and additonal batteries.
