The Ottobock Discovery is a stable and adaptive tilt-in-space mobility base which is configurable with different seating systems. The rotation point of the seat tilt has been placed very close to the front, making the Discovery very easy to handle.
The Discovery has a low overall width because, with smaller rear wheels (compared to conventional 61 cm (24 inch) wheels), the seat unit can be set up above the mobility base. The entire back can be adjusted to accommodate a variety of seating shells and the angle of the backrest can be changed with a ratchet mechanism.
