Description
The Sherborne Malvern is a beautifully styled armchair available in a wide range of fabrics, including high quality leather. Available in four sizes, ranging from Petite to Royale, the Malvern really can compliment any setting. Featuring scroll arms and full width 'chaise' seating. The soft fibre-filled back also provides excellent support.
Sherborne Riser Recliners feature a powered lift system that makes lowering the user into the chair easier as well as raising the user back to a standing position.
In addition to the riser function, the Malvern also has the option of a single or dual motor action. Single motors use a three button handset and the footrest fully raises before the back starts reclining. The third button on the handset returns the chair to a sitting position. The dual motor adjusts the backrest and footrest separately and provides a near horizontal position.
The Malvern is also available as a standard 'powered' recliner, which provides powered recline but omits the riser function. Please contact us for pricing.

The Malvern also features 'TouchStop', a series of unique safety systems which include:
- A quick release handset to ensure no unauthorised use
- Spring loaded footrest to reduce the risk of accidental entrapment under the footrest
- Handset safety buttons, which are inset reduce the chance of activating the chair by accidental pressure
